A group of four Maine riders joined up with Winter Wonderland for three days of riding in the area. The entire experience was second to none. The sleds, guides, meals, staff, yurt and everything they had control of was top notch. Rode the area in early March with huge snowpack, one day guided and two days by ourselves. Our whole group can't give them enough kudo's. Fresh snow everyday. The higher you go the more there is. Had to fight the weather some and flathead trail grooming left room for improvement.
Owner is friendly and sent us on our way in no time. The trail loop he suggested we ride was great as it climbed up a mountain. There were areas to go off the trail and play around in the deep snow. His sleds where new and and good shape. He has a big yurt halfway which you can warm up and have lunch in. It was a great experience, start to finish.
We met the owner at his yurt near Striker Ridge. A very accomadating man. Ready and able to make your day. The yurt was warm and inviting. Rental is available. We want to return and spend the night. We are seriously considering ordering the prime rib dinner.
